Wedding Dance

A great wedding doesn’t happen by luck. It’s built on preparation, intuition, and experience.

15+ years creating packed dancefloors

There’s a moment at every wedding that I live for - it’s the moment the couple look at each other and realise this is it… this is our night. That’s the energy I chase every time I step behind the decks!

I’m Billy, known to most as DJ Billy M. For the past 15 years I’ve been turning weddings and parties into the kind of celebrations people talk about long after their feet stop aching.

I didn’t get into DJing as a hobby. I fell in love with what music does to a room. The right track at the right moment can bring everyone together, and I’ve been hooked on creating those moments ever since.

From intimate barns to big hotel ballrooms, my job is always the same: read the room, build the atmosphere and create a dancefloor where every generation feels part of it.

I don’t just play songs – I craft a journey, mixing across genres so the energy never drops.

If you want a wedding that feels electric, emotional and properly memorable, you’re in safe hands.

Trusted by hundreds of couples

My focus is always on understanding the atmosphere you want from the moment guests arrive to the final song of the night. From our first chat, I take time to learn about your story, your music and the kind of day you’re imagining.

Whether that’s relaxed daytime vibes, club classics at sunset or a full late-night party, everything is built around you. You tell me what matters most, and I shape the music and flow to match.

Nothing is copied and pasted. Every playlist, every mix and every moment is tailored to you.

On the day, I stay adaptable – reading the room, adjusting the energy and keeping everything running smoothly so you can stay present and enjoy it all.

Get to Know Me

My favourite guilty-pleasure track?

Probably Reach by S Club 7. Everyone pretends they don’t love it, then sings every word.

My most-played artist?

I think it’s actually Jamiroquai. Space Cowboy gets a regular spin, and the disco remixes of their other tracks are perfect for getting those toes tapping.

How I first got into DJing?

I’ve always been music obsessed, and at every house party growing up, I became the one in charge of the playlist with my iPod and a speaker. My group of friends have trusted my music choices for as long as I can remember. I eventually began DJing 18th birthdays using Virtual DJ on a laptop and whatever speaker the venue was willing to lend me.

If I had one song stuck on repeat forever, it would be…?

If I had to pick one, I’d choose Benediction by Hot Natured. I’ve always loved the house rave and festival scene and this is my favourite house track. It always hits differently.

What’s my favourite song to play at weddings?

Without fail, I Found Lovin - Fatback Band - you wot, you wot!!

What songs ALWAYS fill the floor?

Show Me Love, Somebody Else’s Guy, Freed From Desire, Candy, Never Too Much, September... I could list floor fillers all day.

What I do when I’m not behind the decks?

When I’m not travelling the world with my fiancée, you’ll usually find me on the golf course, in a boozer, or watching some very questionable football while following Charlton Athletic.

My go-to vibe for drinks receptions?

Upbeat vocal/disco house and club classics are my go to vibe for drinks receptions, especially when the sun is out. It lifts the atmosphere straight away and sets a great tone for the rest of the day.

What genre I secretly love?

Country music - it’s pretty much all I listen to in the car. I’m a big fan of Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and that whole modern country sound. Whenever a couple requests country for their wedding breakfast, it genuinely makes my day.

Go-to takeaway after a gig?

I’d love to say something fancy, but it’s always Maccy's. Chicken Selects, double cheeseburger, job done. Bosh!
